We rebuilt the TEACH Foundation's slow, script-heavy Squarespace site into a fast, fully self-hosted website — same message, same photos, none of the platform baggage or monthly fees.
The TEACH Foundation trains Haitian church leaders through the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies at Emmaus University. Their message was clear — but the Squarespace site carrying it was heavy, rented, and slow on the very connections their students use.
85 requests and 46 scripts loaded on every visit, pulling nearly 10 MB from 10 different domains.
Locked into a monthly Squarespace plan with commercial Adobe fonts they didn't own and couldn't move.
Third-party scripts and CDNs they couldn't control — extra weight that drags on slower Haitian networks.
Measured live on both sites the same day, on the same connection.
Every word and photo carried over. Drag the handle to compare the homepage, before and after.

Fonts, hero video, icons and images all served from one domain. No Squarespace, no Typekit, no CDN roulette.
Static files on Cloudflare's global edge, so the site loads in a fraction of a second — even on slower Haitian networks.
A branded donate page with monthly and one-time giving, wired to Stripe through a serverless checkout function.
The hand-drawn circle, highlight underlines, hero video and gallery reel — all re-implemented without Squarespace's JS.
Shared tokens, header, hero, prose, board grid and footer across every page — authored from the original design.
A single portable set of files. No monthly platform fee, no vendor lock-in, and no font-licensing worries.
Scroll each frame to compare the complete homepage — original on the left, the rebuild on the right.

Both captured at 1440px desktop width on the same day.
A ministry shouldn't have to rent its own front door. The message, the design, and the code should all belong to the people doing the work.
If your website is slow, rented, or weighed down by scripts you can't control, we'll rebuild it into something fast that you actually own.
